New Apple PowerBook and Power Mac models
Apple announced the availability of new PowerBook models, with brighter, higher resolution displays and longer battery life. All PowerBooks now include a SuperDrive, and the 15-17 inch models now also support Apple’s 30 inch Cinema Display.
Apple also announced the updated Power Mac G5 models, with the top of the line using two 2.5 GHz dual-core processors, making it a Quad-core machine. The new Power Macs also feature a new PCI architecture, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, and they all ship with Apple’s Mighty Mouse.
